CCTV INSPECTION

 

 

This technology in relatively new in India but used extensively by municipal corporation/ PHED/ water supply and sewerage management boards throughout the world to asses the conditions of existing sewer and to prepare sewer maintenance, rehabilitation and / or replacement programs.

 

Most important reason to use sewer inspection system are :

• The Quality assessment of newly laid sewerage


• The inspection of old sewer to locate the points of contamination of ground water with sewer


• Determination or the reason for blocked sewer.


• Displaced or open joints which may lead to Sag or settlement of sewer line.


• Encrustation and Root intrusion which lead to decrease in flow carrying capacity of Pipeline


• For the cost estimate of sewer rehabilitation program


• The CCTV inspection will also show the depth of at sewerage and peak levels by the


• water marks on the interior of the pipe. All this work is done without excavation and disturbance of the road traffic
